The Castles Of Yorkshire There are a great many reasons to visit the Yorkshire Dales, but perhaps none of them are as romantic and exciting as the opportunity to see the castles. When you set out from your Yorkshire hotel to see the sights, you will find that this area contains some of the finest castles in all of the United Kingdom. Each of the castles can make a family trip wonderful and make history come alive for everyone involved. If you visit Yorkshire and somehow overlook the chance to see some of the wonderful remembrances of yesteryear, you'll look back on the time and regret it. There's not a single Yorkshire hotel that is too far distant from a castle, but you may want to start in Skipton, where you can stay at the beautiful and historic Rendezvous hotel. Of course, the hotel itself is wonderful, with a family atmosphere and an attentive staff. There is a fine restaurant, a great selection of rooms, and a list of amenities that complements the stay.
