I call them set pieces. My dreaming mind is like a small theatre company on a budget. The same people, characters, buildings, rooms, etc get used over and over again. I dream multiple dreams every night like you. I have noticed most of the buildings are places I have been before but modified based on how I feel about them. My grandmother’s house always has more rooms/floors than reality. And it’s often used by my mind as an office building or something else. Only rarely does it all come together the same way in future night’s dreams. But I do often get a sequel dream of sorts if I wake up for a few minutes and go straight back to sleep.
