yep, when i used to live there, traffic jams were very common, even when it wasnt rush hour. Also, they didnt even bother fixing the roads or any broken traffic lights, and the intersections were a real mess. Good thing Canada takes care of its shit.

Bucharest has still some parts from the “Little Paris” but some parts of the city are a real mess now because of the dust, it is incredible how much are building the Romanians in their capital! I live in Bucharest for all my life. Bucharest is no different from any other town of Europe or the world. Yes it has it’s dogs (like any city) burglars (like any city), annoying taxy drivers (like any city). Next time you come , try to hire a guide or visit with someone you know. No one will hit you on the street , if your not asking for it and minding your own business. I was a guide for 2 foreigner and they actually enjoyed, and not once being in any danger (even from dogs).
