If you're committed to a green lifestyles at home, you don't have to desert that green way of life when on holiday. Most hostels and motels have heavy drapes or window shades which will keep a cool room cool longer if they're kept closed. If dropped in the rubbish, plenty will also likely finish up in landfills.

Great post. I really believe that the true power of fan pages will not be in building more branded destinations, but in building conversation spaces for consumers to communicate with brands.

Serious question here – didn’t we just avert disaster? I mean, things are lousy – but they are nowhere near as bad as people were predicting in late 2008. I guess if the goalposts keep moving you can paint it however we like.It looks to me like the economy has held together remarkably well considering what happened in 2008. If I could time-travel back in time and tell you that the unemployment rate was not going to be as high as it was under Reagan, and was going to in fact decrease steadily, you’d most likely have considered that good news. Or if I told you the stock market was going to recover over 90% of its value in less than three years, that would sound almost inconceivably optimistic. But here we are. Those things are true. And yet everyone is upset it’s not like the 90′s again. Oh well.
The Bible teaches about the seriousness of sin of “commission” (doing something bad), but it also talks about the seriousness of the sins of “omission” (failing to do something good).
